More about the tutor:

Alec is a (soon-to-be) graduate of Stanford University School of Medicine, and will be an anesthesia resident at Massachussetts General Hospital. His greatest strength is his love of teaching.

If you were to work with Alec through a commercial organization, it would cost much more than $1000.

Highlights include:

270 on the USMLE Step 1 and honors on all 3rd year shelf exams
– Named Stanford’s “Outstanding TA” as a biochemistry TA
– Pioneered lectures that were featured in a perspective piece in the New England Journal of Medicine

Learning should be enjoyable, should minimize memorization, and should focus on trying to create stories to maximize long-term, rapid recall of the information.

Tutoring sessions are in 2-hour increments (2 sessions total), and include: creating a custom schedule, honing test-taking skills, subject-specific lessons, and anything else to help you achieve your dreams.

What if I REALLY want to win??

One tip: you get one entry for every action, but FIVE ENTRIES PER PERSON THAT SIGNS UP via your referral link.  I don’t make the rules (Punchtab does), so you might as well take advantage!  Also, depending on the number of referrals, I may even consider giving extra free tutoring to the person with the most referrals =)
